INTO THE UNKNOWN

“One of the greatest obstacles we face in following Christ is fear of the unknown. We yearn to know the outcome of our obedience and where He is taking us, yet we are given only the assurance that He is with us and that He is in charge. And with that, we venture into the unknown with Him.”

Foreword

It was on June when Mr. Philippe John Fresnillo Sipacio introduced to us our Analytic Paper with which we will work for it for eight months. A novice like me was in wonder with what will be the outcome of my papers in the succeeding months, I’m in confusion, and I was in question. This Analytic Paper was given to us so we can harness our writing skills and English grammar. Its mission is for us to be an independent writer when we reach our college life. It was indeed a challenge for us to complete the paper. Imagine, you’ll work for it for eight months along with the projects designed to us?

I started making papers with the designed issues, like the social issue for the month of June. Research were made so I can put a breakthrough to my writing skills. Under the analytic paper, it says: You should be comfortable with your chosen topic, this means that you can relate to each situations, provide thesis for your analysis and your conclusion. I was comfortable choosing one topic that deals about the election-related events; I have some references, a book. This was the time when I feel support in continuing the Analytic Paper. Months later, series of topics were introduced and I finished it. Despite of my hectic schedule, I find time in doing this for my grades.

Indeed, I was amazed when I finally finished these eight issues. I can conclude that with the help of our adviser, I now know how to be a professional writer as he always wanted; all of us can be professional in our own way as what he mentioned. The experience in writing this paper was an excellent duty for me because this papers helped me in developing my creativity.

I was born INTO THE UNKNOWN and when I think that I should stand and be still for reaching out my dreams. The man of the unknown future is now here to be strong and face the reality. A challenge, a treasure and a beginning for someone who is a neophyte when he once touched the boundaries of Iloilo Central Commercial High School.

My treasured Analytic Paper is never be possible without the help of the following:

To God, with which He bestowed upon me, His support and Guidance that helped me do this Analytic Paper in the proper way.

To my parents, who financially support me and the trust they have given upon me. They encourage me to strive harder and never give up. The patience they gave to me when I arrive home late at night.

To my brother, for his support and guidance to make this project a success. He gave me hints on how to produce a good Analytic Paper.

To my best friends, Zaire Jean Zaragoza, Bernard Anthony Pe, Ma. Annette Guyos, Jose Martin Martinez, Jenny Lyn Sayo, Jennifer Palma and Kristine Marie Tee. For appreciating and accepting my talents and the inner me.

To all Fourth Year Guyabano students, for giving me the place to call my own home and developing the true Ivan John Chin.

To Mr. Philippe John Fresnillo Sipacio, for giving us the opportunity to develop our skills in writing and harnessing our grammar. Although this is hard, it helped us learn more and be independent when the time comes when we do this for our own. And for guiding us on our papers.

To all, thank you for your undying support and care.

I owe this a lot to all of you, if you were not there, I doubt, this will never be a success.
